Privacy, in plain words.

Your family’s journal belongs with your family. Here’s how Baby Stats handles your information.

Privacy policy · Updated September 8, 2026 · MPS Holdings LLC

Your journal and iCloud

Baby Stats is a newborn-care journal provided by MPS Holdings LLC. The app stores your baby profile and care entries on your iPhone. These can include the name and birthday you enter, feeding details, diapers, pumping, vitamins, medication information, notes and caregiver names. Local saving works offline.

When iCloud is available, the app synchronizes through Apple’s CloudKit private and shared databases using your Apple Account. Baby Stats does not ask for or receive your Apple Account password. There is no separate Baby Stats account.

We do not operate a server that receives your care journal. The app has no advertising, tracking SDK or product analytics SDK, and does not send your journal to advertising or analytics providers. Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Sharing you choose

You can invite another caregiver to a private read/write journal. They can view, add, edit and delete entries. Your journal is not a public feed. Use the sharing controls in Family to manage participants.

Removing someone’s access does not erase copies or exports they already retained. Share invitations only with people you intend to give access to your journal.

Widgets, Live Activities and reminders

These optional features use a limited snapshot on your device, including the baby display name, recent feed details and daily totals. Journal notes and caregiver or account identifiers are not included in that snapshot. Reminder and live-tracker preferences are local to each phone.

Information can appear on your Home or Lock Screen. You control system visibility and notification permissions in iOS. Enabling reminders requests notification permission; they are off by default.

Retention, deletion and exports

Your journal remains on your device and, after synchronization, in your iCloud storage. Deleting an entry removes it from the visible journal and synchronizes its deleted status. Marked deleted records can remain in local and cloud storage to prevent stale devices from restoring entries. This does not immediately erase the record’s contents permanently.

Joining a different journal preserves a backup of the previous local journal before switching. Entry deletion does not remove that backup or previously exported CSV files. You control the files you export and where you share them.

Contact us for help understanding retained copies and available removal steps. Because we do not hold your private iCloud journal on our own server, we cannot directly erase it for you. Removing the app is not a reliable way to remove all iCloud, backup or exported copies.

Information you send to support

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request, troubleshoot the issue and maintain necessary support records. Our email provider processes that correspondence to deliver and store it. We keep it as needed to resolve and follow up on the request and meet applicable obligations; you can ask us to delete it.

Do not include personal care notes unless needed for the issue. The app’s Copy sync details action produces app and OS versions, operation and error codes, counts and timestamps. It excludes names, notes and account or record identifiers. These diagnostics are sent to us only if you choose to share them.

This website

This website provides information about Baby Stats, support and these policies. It does not access your app journal. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies or a mailing-list form. Fonts and images are served with the site.

Our hosting and network provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request information such as IP addresses, requested pages and browser information to deliver and protect the website. These website requests are separate from the app’s iCloud journal. Learn more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Audience and policy changes

Baby Stats is intended for parents and caregivers to record care, not for children to use. The baby information you enter is part of your private journal.

We will update this policy if our practices change, and show the updated date above. Contact us if you have a question or want to make a request about information you have sent to us.
